Said the female to her female counterpart, "don't guys emulate certain objects around us?"
SUBWAY - male, because it uses the same old lines to pick people up.
HAMMER - male, because it hasn't evolved much over the last 5,000 years, but it's handy to have around.
ZIPLOC BAGS - male, because they hold everything in, but you can always see right through them.
SWISS ARMY KNIFE - male, because even though it appears useful for a wide variety of work, it spends most of its time just opening bottles.
SHOE - male, because it is usually unpolished, with its tongue hanging out.
TIRE - male, because it goes bald and often is over inflated.
HOT AIR BALLOON - male, because to get it to go anywhere you have to light a fire under it... and, of course, there's the hot air part.
Said the male to the male, 'say, girls do resemble the things around us, don't they?'
KIDNEYS - female, because they always go to the bathroom in pairs.
COPIER - female, because once turned off, it takes a while to warm up. Because it is an effective reproductive device when the right buttons are pushed. Because it can wreak havoc when the wrong buttons are pushed.
SPONGES - female, because they are soft and squeezable and retain water.
WEB PAGE - female, because it is always getting hit on.
HOURGLASS - female, because over time, the weight shifts to the bottom.
REMOTE CONTROL - female... Ha! You thought it'd be male. But consider it gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying.

Day (21) Home (:
At the hardest of times, it is the hardy plant that grows on the sidewalk, though faded and dull, that deserves the recognition of others, not the glorious sunflower, nor the lovely roses that grow on the tender garden beds.
Aye.
Home. Never been better, never been surer, never been more at home.
"'Absence makes the heart fonder, or does it allow the mind to wonder?''
I'd asked myself that at the start. And three weeks later, I'd only answer, kinda abit of both.
We do really take for granted privileges and certain perks that we're showered with, most, if not all of the times. I do, at the very least. Like for instance, how most of us have our parents to thank dearly during the last minute in-the-morning rush hour traffic jam rushes when we get up late and can't get to class on time. Or simply the fact that we're showered with their love and blessing with every wake up call to start the day off, or that breakfast is done especially for you from your parents in a bid to keep their precious child full up and ready to tackle the oncoming day with vigor. All in the minor details. Yeah.
But oddly the irony always lies in the fact that we children, pampered and conditioned as always since birth, as I believe most of us have the privilege of, aren't grateful at most times for all that we're provided with. Why so, I don't believe I can account for. Over reliance, taking it for granted, the list, inexhaustive. And we're only making excuses and pointing our fingers, (note how privileged we are to have them), And I think, only in the absence of it, does one only feel the sore lacking of it. Like something or a part of you that has been muffled, an inherent slice of your character that has been silenced.
3 weeks. For a start, it ain't a long period of time. All that the traveler would choose to tell himself when his flight gets canceled and his return postponed. After all, who doesn't enjoy the out of home holiday that we rarely are allowed?
3 weeks.
Of waking up at the wee hours of the morning.
Of aye, taking care of practically all of ones personal needs and cares, all by yourself.
2009 was ''Away from Home'' in theory, hahah. Who would come to think 2010 would include practical sessions. The whole deal, eh?
When we're granted with the freedom and our own calls for our own time allocation, how many of us would faithfully adhere to it? I wouldn't, at times. And for that, I am, really grateful for the people around myself for the reminder again and again of who I am and what I am here for. Today, if I'd review this again years down the road, is the first of 21 I'm back, at home.
Hasn't been the most pleasant, but at the very least, I'm home, and I'm enjoying every moment of it. (:

New perspectives, new directions, new opinions.
Perhaps it's best if people were allowed to learn from their falls. Fall, and when no one would be there to pick you up again, understand, such is life. We've our own battles, and to each man, fight your own fights, its the least one can do. But if you've chosen to call quits and leave the battlefield back facing your opponent, whine not when you are brought down, hard, you deserved it. And as much as I would detest to, some people, some, sorely deserve a 'grow up' in their faces. This ain't your golden childhood days of bliss and innocence anymore. Do what you want, anytime you want, and leave the implications for others to bear, you think? Grow up.
It is really a wonder, how the minds of others tick.

Home, Daughtry.
I'm staring out into the night, trying to hide the pain
I'm going to the place where love
And feeling good don't ever cost a thing
And the pain you feel's a different kind of pain
Well, I'm going home, back to the place where I belong
And where your love has always been enough for me
I'm not running from, no, I think you got me all wrong
I don't regret this life I chose for me
But these places and these faces are getting old
So I'm going home, well I'm going home
The miles are getting longer, it seems, the closer I get to you
I've not always been the best man or friend for you
But your love it makes true and I don't know why
You always seem to give me another try
So I'm going home, back to the place where I belong
And where your love has always been enough for me
I'm not running from, no, I think you got me all wrong
I don't regret this life I chose for me
But these places and these faces are getting old
Be careful what you wish for 'cause you just might get it all
You just might get it all and then some you don't want
Be careful what you wish for 'cause you just might get it all
You just might get it all, yeah
Oh, well I'm going home, back to the place where I belong
And where your love has always been enough for me
I'm not running from, no, I think you got me all wrong
I don't regret this life I chose for me
But these places and these faces are getting old
I said these places and these faces are getting old
So I'm going home, I'm going home

Well well well, hahah.
I like especially how the day(8) post played out.
Goodbye Grandpa, goodbye Grandma, said the little boy.
Both instances, the people in question passed away.
And in the case of Goodbye Daddy, well, Daddy was so frightened at all measures he avoided potential fatal incidents by keeping himself indoor the whole of the day. But the twist came when, apparently, a person was actually inflicted the same way the words of the little boy like Grandpa and Grandma: the mailman. Goodbye Daddy, the mailman? Adultery, explains why the wife was that worked up?! Hahah. x)

Day (8): Reprieve.
One night a father overheard his son saying his prayers "God
bless Mommy and Daddy and Grammy. Goodbye Grampa."
Well, the father thought it was strange, but he soon forgot
about it. The next day, the Grandfather died. About a month or
two later the father heard his son saying his prayers again "God
bless Mommy and Daddy. Goodbye Grammy."
The next day the grandmother died. Well, the father was getting
more than a little worried about the whole situation. Two weeks
later, the father once again overheard his sons prayers. "God
Bless Mommy. Good bye Daddy."
This alone nearly gave the father a heart attack. He didn't say
anything but he got up early to go to work, so that he would
miss the traffic. He stayed all through lunch and dinner.
Finally after midnight he went home. He was still alive! When he
got home he apologized to his wife. "I am sorry Honey. I had a
very bad day at work today." "You think you've had a bad day?
YOU THINK YOU'VE HAD A BAD DAY!?", the wife yelled, "The mailman
dropped dead on my doorstep this morning!"

A: "I looked up beautiful in the thesaurus today and your name was included."
B: "Thanks! Hey, I saw your name next to jerk."

Day (5)
6.44:
An encouraging means to kick-start what is deemed as an arduous and strenuous period of time. Extremely.
It ain't the fact that we're not to be blamed for what we've done.
It ain't the fact too that anyone doesn't have a role to play in this grand scheme; for we're all in this together.
It ain't the fact of who is wrong, or who is right.
It left me pondering. Yeah.
It is indubitably a hard fact that people try hard at times. Trying so hard, that till the point whereby one is at the brink of a huge, abysmal crater where any little push probably would land you into nothingness. The thing is, unavoidably at most times, it is so hard, so difficult that no matter how much one tries, results are not always seen. People thus get tired. Very. Tired of trying again, tired of facing anything with the dread of not being able to accomplish the goals you set out with initially, to see to the end of that particular venture. And gradually, they start to give up. And although I know, and we all know who is ultimately at fault, it brings no justice to the situation should it be done in any other way. Yet is there no other way, but to lecture and the use of a particular style, tone to criticize?
Or perhaps a little sense of satisfaction's felt when negativity is invoked?
Or perhaps a little sense of satisfaction's felt when negativity is invoked?
Apologies. A mere statement or something bigger, something, perhaps a little from the heart and more sincere? As much as one longs for recognition and acknowledgment of the others' flaws and faults, it is only the deserving, that get it eventually, in my opinion.
It is definitely human to err, but it takes something bigger to recognize, accept and act on it. But at the very least, from me to you - mea culpa.
---
Letting go.
It's surprising, really, to attempt to fathom the human mind. Or to possibly comprehend plausible reactions from a multitude of exposure and experiences, that I feel.
Letting go, at the best of times, doesn't mean you're giving up. It just means you're learning to move on with your life. It isn't wise just to let a few setbacks get you weak, out of breath and unmotivated. We're made for bigger, better things, that's a definite. And as much as it pains anyone to envision you in this state, no one is to be blamed. Nor is there anything that anyone can do; the decision solely lies with you, I believe.
It is definitely acceptable for one to take briefs respites at times, break for a short hiatus before an all out stretch of efforts supplied. No one, absolutely no one is doubting your abilities. Nor is anyone questioning what you have achieved thus far. And I believe that in the eyes of many you serve as a role model. A stellar one, despite what you might have in mind of yourself.
To crumble under pressure and succumb to needless worries that plagues one unnecessary, I believe that that just isn't you. It is definitely human to assume burdens, place them upon our shoulders. They however should only serve as a reminder; that we actually have responsibilities to cater to, to point you in the right direction and possibly to act as a driving/motivating force to one. Senseless thinking and pondering never helps, that I feel once again. Nor is escapism; where firstly, the unsolved problem still sticks out like a sore thumb, and secondly, you've ultimately to face the surmounting pressures from your surrounding environment and factors that demand answers. Pleasant? No, I think not.
To live up proud, to stand up tall, your choice. And I really mean it.
But it's never too late to mention, that our fingerprints never fade from the lives we've touched, and I'm sure you've definitely made a difference in the lives of many, mine at least. And I'm sure you'll be able to pull through this just fine. I hope, and I dearly hope, that in the near future would you realize, and possibly let bygones be bygones, start afresh, and do yourself, and the people around you proud.

"But let there be space in your togetherness,
And let the winds of the heavens dance between you.
Love one another, but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Fill each other’s cup but drink not from the same cup.
Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf.
Sing and dance together and be Joyous, but let each one of you be alone.
Even as the strings of the lute are alone though they quiver with the same music.
Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping.
For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts.
And stand together, yet not too near together
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow."
And stand together, yet not too near together
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow."
