I can't express myself better. Familial ties.
It's all the little things that count, aren't they?
I've realized that through the busy year, as past years have been, we've all too realized it; that as we grow up, we tend to go adrift from close-knit family ties. Not too bad, but slowly floating apart as we adjourn to the magical age of 21. All the little stuff that counts, always all the little stuff that counts.
I've realized how much I've missed my childhood days, where we bask in the sun and laugh all day, where we rode on daddy's shoulder and held mummy's hands. I still miss them. (: Holidays, as the name suggests, is the short reprieve needed by us hardworking people, no thanks to anyone in particular, not even the education system. The short break, time to catch up on family and platonic ties.
Goodness knows when was the last time I had a great work out with dad fixing up the house, or preparing dinner with mum, or even rollerblading with my sister. Why can't we have all the time in the world :D
People use to say, time stretches everything. Ties included. Indeed.
