Involvement, over commitment, causes us to lose track of our surroundings more often than expected. Lose ourselves do we, in the sudden impulses, surges of adrenaline, we neglect, though just minor, seemingly insignificant details, we gradually block out and away from ourselves, the little things, that make life complete. Take for instance, lost sometimes are the times we spend with good friends. If time well spent equates lasting friendships, how we put them aside, often for matters we deem "more important", we lose, much more than we think.
Walk along the beaten track, we run towards our aspirations. Yet most importantly, we do not forget, or miss out, the little things, that make life memorable. Cherish what you have, not only when you've lost it. Stop by the roadside, take a breather, relish in the serenity, and be yourselves. (:
