Here's a LONG message I'd received recently. Probably was a case of the wrong number, but it was kind of heartwarming, to see how great friends can be in times of need. Hope the intended recipient got the message in the end. :/
"Hey dude, seriously, get over it already, stop lamenting over the past. Out of two, the one that treasures and is involved in the relationship more usually would find more pain in letting it go. I understand that it's unbearable (an understatement), but there is no point grieving over it. If they're not worth crying for, why shed tears for they who wouldn't care less about you? If you are not worth anything to them, they are not worth anything to you, so just give them up. My friend, here is some advice: find someone who is less fickle, someone who would treasure you, you deserve someone better than _____. Hope to see you in a better state. Catch up with you soon. Your best buddy, _____."
How close bonds within friends are able to tide a person over their worst times. Hopefully the intended recipient gets it, and takes it in stride. Often in need we turn to our closer buddies for sound advice, and it is them, who would give you what you need. They have a choice, to listen and comfort, or to turn a deaf ear, or give you a "too bad, told you so" as an answer. Here, we discern who we can rely on, who, friends, truly are. (:
Here are also some witty/interesting responses and words I've came across recently:
Scenario 1) Teacher 1 to 7(alphabet): You all better not have any couples in the class. 'Cause if there would be a break up, there would be sides taken, girl one side, guy one side. *Clutches heart with an exasperated look and says: It's very troublesome for me. Follows up with another sentence: Then again looking at the current situation in class now, you all have no chemistry of that sort, so it is impossible to happen. *And ends with laughter and a smile breaks out on his/her face. (Nicely put! :D)
Scenario 2) Teacher 2 to 7(alphabet): I tell you all first, ah. If any of you got girlfriend or boyfriend, just throw them away and said I(the teachers name) told you to do so. 'Cause relationships will never last in JC, and I tell you all something, ah. If just before your important exams your girlfriend/boyfriend wants to break up, then how you study? So just dump them now and said I told you to do so. (Haha, you tell us. :D)
Scenario 3) Teacher-student conversation, topic was about going to the movies with another person:
'cher: if you were to go to the movies, you wouldn't go alone right? 'cause if you are watching it alone, you would rather watch it at home, since you can download it from the Internet.
student: yeah, of course. I will go with someone.
'cher: and that someone would usually be a girl right, since you are a guy. You wouldn't bring another guy friend to watch with you?! that is just, wierd..!
student: of course I will bring a girl. Must find pretty one also.
'cher: then if you are going out with a girl, why bring her to the movies? you could go to some park or shopping mall. wouldn't movies be a waste of money?!
student: go to movies must watch the movie, meh? I'll rather watch the girl! (*whole class laughs) (NICE ONE. :D)
