Great jts, 7E. Great job, sweechen. (:
Our class, 09s7E:
Class bonding, what we call the class' spirit, relationships, bond held in place within the class. Inevitably present now, but we question; ten years down the road, will this still be the case? Were we to cross paths, would it be as close friends, or as strangers?
Leaves. Exits. Outflow. But never an addition. Great companions, great friends, we see them leaving, one, or more at a time, from our sides. Of course we find contentment that they are, pursuing what is best for them. Of course, unwillingness, and to a certain extent, regret, that yet another thread binding you to who you are, is taken out, another puzzle piece, is lost. With them around we find the puzzle complete; without them, we live on, yes, but would it still be the same? Would we still feel the same way? See each other in school, see each other, years later, would we still talk about the great times we had together? Or would there only be forced smiles?
Disintegrating. On the cover, the great, flowery illustrations, decorations, a picture perfect situation. But scrawled under the facade, on papery thin sheets we call our feelings, are words, sometimes difficult to express, torn little scraps of emotions, roughly pieced together again. Circumstance occurs, we fall apart, each to his own future, each, to his own goals, desires, dreams. It is of course our own choice, our decision to do what is best for ourselves. Go for it, guys.
To Xiong Chen: May your future endeavours, attempts, come to bear success. May you also, be happy in what you choose to do, in the future. Of course, do remember, that no matter what happens, you would and definitely will still be, an integral part of 7E'09.
And of course, to they who cannot be named at this point of time: Cherish, and hold on to the memories we share, of how we laugh ourselves silly over jokes that we crack in class, of how, we spend time together, though sometimes doing obnoxious stuff, or even laugh over lunch at the canteen, yeah, those are times to be remembered. For the remaining periods of time, spend them fruitfully, spend them well. Friends we still shall be, great friends.
We are who we are, 7E, no matter what happens, be it through thick and thin, we are a one, one class. Pull through it we shall, pull through it we will. Bonds are not formed overnight, true companionship, true friendships, they are forged, over the memories we share together. What awaits in the 2 years, of what more after, we cannot fathom. But one thing is sure, for now, and as hope for the future, the answer, will we still be collectively, a class: 7E, yes, we will.
