"Think about our next generation, think of making it better for our children, and the children of our children, and how we can make it into a better place." Really heartwarming statement by a child from a Third-World country at the start of this wonderful song. Though born into less fortunate backgrounds than most of us now are in, what they've experienced, has really shaped and molded them into maturity in thought. It is not always in the best of conditions that we find the most outstanding of people, right? (:

Things, at times, even though long gone, call it expired even, are remembered. Little marks, left behind, faint whisperings and traces of the past that one associates with. They're not the footprints in the sand we leave behind, their existence vulnerable to the crashing waves which threaten to devour them, instead, carvings etched in the bedrock, in the hearts of people.

Ironic, isn't it, that more often than usual things/people are remembered most only after they've left our sides. Think back to philosophers, mathematicians, famous actors/singers, yeah, the list goes on..

To be remembered by many others. Some find it a hassle, some find it the highest level of pride and glory, to be etched deeply in the minds of others. I've heard of different people, those whom after life want to make their departures a grandeur event, whilst others want to leave this world silently. We're all born of the same people, yet we've different, different dreams. And which would you prefer to be; one who leaves your legacy, your mark, or the other persona? (:
