Impasse.

 I wish I could do what I set out for, at times.
But if doing something warranted only negativity, why in the first place am I setting out for it?

If we could let things slide, would we?
If reparations were made, due apologies given, would we let bygones be bygones, and stay friends through the episode, or drift apart, never to see together again?
Would there ever, be a chance for the sun to shine through those overhead, stormy clouds?
Would we hence forgo resplendent times for the cold impasse that lies ahead?
Would we?

It is definitely human to comment, talk, think, act like how our hearts tell us to.
Some people do it in a more provocative way, some do it in a more concealed manner, it is definitely up to the individual. And yes, although it is admittedly up to the individual to exercise their discretion, would it be unjust to say that 'it is human to err'? I wouldn't know, not that I would be right either, but hey, sometimes, most times, apologies should be taken graciously and matters of the past put behind, as hard as it is to do, though easy to mention? If it were me, definitely, I'll try. And my best at it, too.
