Au Revoir.
So it went, the last, the final day. Au revoir.
Farewell, to the last of the days following the June breaks, that we'd seen through in the 12 years of our education system. Surreal, ain't it?
Time flies, ain't it? And as we're counting down the pages before the final call of the decade or so of schooling, point in time whereby we experience the final conclusion of our pre-mediated education.
From toddlers we play with the concept of building blocks of life which later would be introduced as science in our primary education. Metals, we just simply, metals. Iron, steel. Just metals. Then it further evolved into the study of the bonds in which these metals were held together. Fanciful were they; ionic, covalent, much of such. And yet it wasn't enough, and we were exposed to the fact that there existed a middle-ground concept, that variations of these to include partial characters were commonplace. We are, and still are, expected to, develop this area of knowledge, for the practical reason of staying abreast in the competitive society we live in today. Aye, we have came far. Traversed the route path for knowledge, mounting obstacle after obstacle.
Expectations. How are we going to live it up?
Fears. How are we going to overcome them?
Success or otherwise, determined, by whom?
