Proverbial afterthoughts.

少之时,血气未定,之在色;及其壮也,血气方刚之在斗;及其老也,血气既衰,之在得。

Only through careful weighing and reflecting do we come up with decisions that we would not regret in. As they say, youthfulness gets into your head; decisions aren't made after consideration most of the time. We jump onto the bandwagon, follow particular trends, get influenced easy by peers, and only through setbacks do we realize, and regret that moment of folly.

Before we make ourselves available for a certain commitment, do we ask ourselves, would we regret what we started with eventually? The strongest men fall, just because they can't suppress their inner demons; already it is too late when we lament over unfulfilled choices. We therefore think, before act. And well, the right decisions, they're worth the wait. Really. (:
